Sean Naderi

Sean Naderi is a Maryland/DC Metro Area native and now resides in Chicago, IL with his wife and daughter. Sean is a professional genetics researcher with the University of Chicago, where he does research in to cancer therapies.  Sean Naderi has three siblings and was born to Dr. Michael Naderi and and Linda Naderi and developed a keen interest in science and medicine from an early age. He was also a tremendous athlete from a young age, taking up a significant interest in football, basketball, and baseball specifically.  Upon graduating, Sean went on to attend the Columbia University in New York where he majored in biomedical engineering. While in college, Sean became exposed to the artistic landscape in New York, and learned a great deal about theater and performing. Sean joined the Fruit Punch improvisation group his freshman year and fell in love with performing. Always considering a comedian amongst his peers, Sean thrived in a performance setting and loved making an audience laugh. Sean Naderi graduated in 2004 with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. After a couple of years of working in the pharmaceutical industry, Sean went on to pursue a PhD in Genetics at Georgetown University where he completed his doctorate in 2010. While completing his PhD, Sean met his eventual wife, Sarah Metz, in 2007. They married in 2010.
